I went to the haberdasher in town to get som "gold" trim for my newest gown (pics soon, I finished it today) and found this lovely trim. It's not gold, but it's real metal, and it's made in a mill close to where I live in Gothenburg, which is now a
museum.
It's beautiful. What a find! Real metal trim beats anything else affordable for a medieval garment except maybe tablet-woven silk or wool.
