It all started with my making a wire crown to be worn in a ritual, symbolising the element fire. It was fun, and fairly simple to make something pretty, if not perfect.
So somehow I ended up making a crown for each of the elements (a new one for fire). And then you need to make outfits, and take photos. Obviously.
The Air crown is maybe my favourite among the crowns, but I am not very happy with the photos. And I have plans for aother photoshoot eventually, with some other clothing, not yet designed, or sewn.
I am wearing the smock that I wore at my wedding. It is based on a 16th century Italian smock, but the fabric is an embroidered polyester chiffon.

In 2023 I sewed felt snow flakes on this crown to create a winter queen crown.
